Lynn Bowles is one of the most popular and richest Radio Personality who was born on January 27, 1963 in Cardiff, Wales. Bowles was a journalist at a New Orleans TV news station after graduating from university. In the early 1990s, she returned to the UK but was unsuccessful in finding work. She eventually got a job as a traffic reporter at LBC, Richard Littlejohn’s station. After joining BBC Radio 5 Live’s Nationwide program, she was there for eight years. She then moved to BBC Radio 2 in 2001.

Bowles hosted her own BBC Radio Wales show from Saturday 9 June 2012 for eight weeks. It featured guests like Ken Bruce, with whom she was a travel reporter on BBC Radio 2.

Since 2 November 2014, she has presented a weekly Sunday afternoon show on BBC Radio Wales.

On 16 March 2018, during The Chris Evans Breakfast Show and Ken Bruce’s show, Bowles announced that she would be leaving BBC Radio 2, after 18 years of broadcasting. Her last day was 29 March 2018. Bowles continues with her BBC Radio Wales broadcasting.

Bowles lived in Wimbledon as of June 2009, but she regularly traveled back to Rudry, near Caerphilly.
