Luis Miguel Sanchez Benitez, commonly known as Luismi (born 5 May 1992), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays on loan from Real Valladolid for Real Oviedo as a defensive middlefielder.

Luismi signed his professional contract on 30 July 2015. He was promoted to the main team and given the number 16. The jersey that Antonio Puerta wore when he died in 2007 playing for Sevilla, was to only be given to academy players from that point onwards. However, he was removed of the number halfway through the campaign when it was controversially handed over to Federico Fazio.

Upon returning, Luismi was a regular starter for Valladolid during the 2017–18 campaign, which ended in top-tier promotion. On 15 January 2020, however, after failing to feature in any league matches in the last two seasons (due to injury), he was loaned to Real Oviedo of the second division until June.

Luismi signed a two-year contract with the Andalusians on 3 July 2014. He was also an unutilized substitute in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup 0-2 defeat to Real Madrid at Cardiff City Stadium, 12 August. On 23 August, he made his debut in top division and first-team play. He replaced Vicente Iborra at the 80 minute mark of a 1-1 draw against Valencia CF.

Luismi fractured two skull bones during a 1-0 win against Real Jaen on November 11, 2012. He scored in his second appearance for the latter on 14 January 2017, opening a 1–1 draw at UCAM Murcia CF.
