Thomas Pkemei Longosiwa (born January 14, 1982 , in West Pokot District) is a running runner who hails from Kenya who has participated in the two Olympics in which he won an Olympic bronze medal in 2012’s Summer Olympics. He was also the Kenyan 5000-meter champion since 2007.

In March 2012, he won an 80th anniversary edition of Cinque Mulini and finished third in the Trofeo Alasport. He was second behind Edwin Soi at the Giro Media Blenio in April. Longosiwa placed second in the 5000m race at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix and was selected for the Kenyan Olympic team with a top three place in the trials. He ran a 5000m time of 12:49.04 minutes in a month prior to at the 2012 London Olympics and was able to claim his first major prize winning the bronze medal at the Olympic final for the 5000 m. Following the Olympics He competed at the Diamond League final, where He finished second behind Isaiah Kiplangat Koech. Two podium places during the Giro di Castelbuono and Giro al Sas ended the year to the 2012 season for Longosiwa.

He was awarded the Cross della Vallagarina in Italy in January of 2011. The team was the Kenyan team at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and placed 6th in men’s 5000m. He ended the track season by securing a second place in the 5000m race in the Memorial van Damme Diamond League meeting. Then, in November of this year, he raced the first stage of the International Chiba Ekiden and won the first stage that helped the team win.
