Leeds spent his primary school years in Ngawi (Indonesia) from 2006 to 2012. This was during his ancestral education days. In 2012, Leeds moved to Australia to continue his racing career.
Leeds was a Red Bull Junior Team member in 2016, and is currently a 23Red Racing development driver.
In 2019 Leeds raced with AGI Sport in Australian F4 Championship where he competed in 18 races, finished on the podium 17 times for 9 wins including the Australian F1 Grand Prix event to go with his other F1 event win at the Mexico F1 in 2015. Leeds went on to win the championship convincingly.
He joined the Red Bull Junior Team in 2016 and moved to the United Kingdom for the F4 British Championship. TRS Arden Junior Racing Team was his sponsor. With three wins, he finished the season third in drivers standings. It wasn’t enough for him to maintain his place in the RB Junior Team.
