After impressing at the Gymkhana Club’s Gymkhana Club, Oluoch was first called up to the national team during the home series against Uganda. They played three List A matches in the final of 2010. Oluoch was a great performer on his List A debut. He took 4 wickets and scored 32 runs. This is his best bowling performance at List A. The Ugandans were then bowled out for just 123 runs. The series was eventually won by Kenya 2-1.
Oluoch was selected for Kenya’s provisional team in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. However, he did not make the final 15-member squad.
In May 2019, he was named in Kenya’s squad for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier tournament in Uganda.
