See was Publishers Weekly’s West Coast correspondent (1983-1996). See wrote articles for Vogue and Self. She also wrote the libretto of the opera On Gold Mountain. See also helped to create the Family Discovery Gallery at the Autry Museum. This gallery depicts 1930s Los Angeles through the eyes of her father, a seven year old boy. On Gold Mountain: A Chinese American Experience was exhibited at the Smithsonian and Autry Museum of Western Heritage. See is also a speaker.
