Raymond also played tennis for Andy Brandi’s Florida Gators women’s tennis team. She won the NCAA singles title in 1993 and 1992, and was a Gator who led the Gators to their first NCAA team championship in 1992. In 1992, she became the first player to win all three Grand Slam titles at collegiate level in one season. She was awarded the 1992 Volvo Rookie of the Month award, the 1992 Tennis Magazine Collegiate Player of the Year award and twice won the Honda Sports Award for Tennis. This award recognizes her as the outstanding female collegiate tennis player of the year, in 1992-93 and 1991-92.

Raymond began 2008 playing with Elena Likhovtseva with solid results but was cut short due to injury but then reunited with former partner Samantha Stosur in May, after the latter’s return from injury.
