Lester Brown is one of the most popular and richest Environmentalist who was born on January 5, 1957 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States. Born January 5, 1957, Lester Brown is an American football player who ran back in the Canadian Football League for Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Concordes. He also played with the Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Rough Riders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts and Toronto Argonauts. He played college football for Clemson University.
He was traded to Toronto Argonauts for linebacker GordElser in June 1984. After rushing for 594 yards and 53 receptions for 780 yard, he was selected for his first Eastern All-Star selection. Three games into 1985, he was released.
Brown remained in Winnipeg for two seasons (1986–1987), but only played in nine games. He finished his career with 4,586 rushing yards, 275 receptions for 2,861 yards and 48 total touchdowns.
In 2007, he was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame.
He was traded to Montreal Concordes for cash in 1982. Brown was a receiver from the backfield. He set career records with 61 receptions and 654 yards. In addition, he rushed for 388 yards in 87 attempts. Brown was more often used as a running back in 1983 with 48 catches for 792 yard and 37 catches.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed him as a free agent in 1980 to play running back. He ran for 590 yards and had 23 receptions of 185 yards in seven games. He played the entire 1981 season and rushed for 804 yards and had 32 receptions for 221 yards.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Brown in the seventh round (1989th overall) of 1980 NFL Draft. They wanted to convert him into a cornerback because he was too small to run back. On August 4, he was released.
In 1985, he was signed as a free agent by the Ottawa Rough Riders. Between the two team’s, he recorded 537 rushing yards and 31 receptions in only 11 games, to earn his second straight Eastern All-Star selection. In 1986, after playing in 9 games and rushing for 411 yards, he was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
