Lee Mossop (born 17 January 1989) is an English professional footballer in the league of rugby who is a prop for the Salford Red Devils in the Betfred Super League and the England Knights and England at the international level.

In May 2009, it was revealed that Lee would be joining Huddersfield for a month on loan. It was later confirmed that Lee will remain at Huddersfield for a season-long loan, with Wigan being able to recall Lee anytime in the event of a need.

Mossop started 2010 brightly in Wigan colours and was attracting interest from Australian NRL side Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. However, on 29 March 2010 Mossop signed a 5-year deal at the Wigan club which would see him stay as a Cherry and White until the end of the 2014 season.

In October 2011, Mossop was announced in the 22-man squad for the England Knights, a team of emerging Super League players and future England Rugby League stars. He played in two games for the Knights against France and his home-county, Cumbria, winning both of them.

In July 2009, it was revealed that Lee returned to Wigan from his loan period at Huddersfield due to injuries sustained by Captain Sean O’Loughlin and Harrison Hansen He made 11 appearances during the season, scoring one goal.
