Kiefer won bronze in the Women’s foil during the World Fencing Championships. She finished 5th at the 2012 London Olympic Games, after losing to the eventual silver medallist Arianna Errigo, in the quarterfinals 15-10. In the 2014-15 season , she made her debut on the World Cup podium with a silver medal in Saint-Maur. She was able to be the winner of the Algiers World Cup in early 2015 after beating the world’s No.1 Arianna Errigo, who had beaten Errigo in Saint-Maur.
