Kubiak is an eight-year coaching veteran, and has worked four seasons apiece in the NFL and college ranks following his playing career at Colorado State University. He is the son of the Vikings assistant head coach Gary Kubiak, who previously led the Denver Broncos to a victory in Super Bowl 50.
