Kavin is a native of Malaysia He graduated from the Methodist Boys’ School (Kuala Lumpur) in 1997. Kavin continued his studies in South Tyneside College, Newcastle and was graduated in 2001. He was then an engineer in the Marine Corps, but his brother who died in the past had always encouraged him to become comedian. So, he cited Kavin as an inspiration who inspired him to take on stand-up comedy following the passing of his sole sibling in the month of May in 2006. Kavin’s comedy influences include Robin Williams, Chris Rock and Eddie Izzard.
Kavin’s debut show took place in The Actors Studio in August 2006, which was a disappointment for Kavin. Kavin went on to do several shows alongside Andrew Peter Netto, his brother. Andrew Peter Netto calling themselves the Comedy Cousins.
Kavin joined the comedy reality show, Maharaja Lawak Mega 2016 in Malay language. He was the first non-Muslim to join this comedy reality show. He did his stand up comedy in the Malay language. He lasted only 3 weeks before he was eliminated.
