Horvath has won her career against Navratilova, Andrea Jaeger, Manuela Maleeva, Gabriela Sabatini, Dianne Fromholtz and Claudia Kohde-Kilsch. Mary Joe Fernandez, Betty Stove as well as Sylvia Hanika. She was part of 1984’s United States Fed Cup team. Horvath was a participant at the 1984 Olympics when tennis was reinstated as a sport for demonstration and was the first to be seeded. Her coach was Harry Hopman and Nick Bollettieri.
