Katerina Ksenyeva studied in The Department of Opera Vocals at the Musical College at the Bishkek Conservatory under famous teachers Vladimir Mukovnikov and Bulat Minzhilkiev. In 1994, she was enrolled in the Drama Department at the Bishkek Conservatory she was accepted into the Drama Department at the Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy. In 1998 she completed the master workshop of the director and actor Yuri Tomoshevsky, who taught her unique methods of “nervous” behavior on the stage.
