John Christian Ka’iminoeauloameka’ikeokekumupa’a “Ka’imi” Fairbairn (born January 29, 1994) is an American football placekicker with the Houston Texans in the National Football League (NFL). In his college football days with the UCLA Bruins, he was a first-team consensus All-American as a senior which led to him being awarded The Lou Groza Prize for being the top college kicker in the country in the year 2015. After being awarded the position of kicking in his first year as a true freshman, Fairbairn was one of the Pac-12 Conference record holder for the most points in a career. After being undrafted from college, Fairbairn joined Houston as an undrafted free agent. He was named their kicker of the year the following year , in 2017.

After being not chosen during the 2015 NFL Draft, Fairbairn signed with the Houston Texans. He spent the rest of the 2016 season on injured reserve because of an injury to his quadriceps. In 2017 He received the honour of becoming the Texans the team’s starting kicker, ahead of Nick Novak. Fairbairn has attempted all of their field goals in the preseason and had a better leg and a deeper kickoff than Novak. When the team played in Week 4 when the team played Tennessee Titans Tennessee Titans, he converted six of seven extra points, and three field goal attempts. In his rookie season He made 33 of his 35 attempts to score extra points as well as twenty of his 25 attempts at field goals.
