Justin “Sambo” Sampson (born 2 September 1966) is a television sports presenter, professional speaker and an former Australian soccer unionist. Sampson has played for the Australian representative team in the clubs of New South Wales Country and North Harbour. He was a successful professional coach of the sport, having played for both the Singapore as well as the Indonesian national teams. He also conducted coaching sessions around the world and fundraising activities to in the promotion of rugby. He also works as a presenter and commentator who covers international matches on channels like ESPN Star Sports and ABC TV (Australia).
From 1997 onwards, Sampson has commentated for the World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Additionally, Sampson has commentated for ABC TV (Australia), and RTHK Radio for the Hong Kong Sevens. Additionally, Sampson was the main presenter for the Victoria rugby Union’s new weekly club-based rugby program that airs on Channel 31 (Australia), known as Rugby Time. With Sampson part of the coaching staff, Indonesia went 4–2 in international test matches earning them a promotion to Division 3 for the 2009 Asian Five Nations.
From 1993 until the year 1996, Sampson resided between 1993 and 1996 in Japan playing professional football for Japan’s Kubota Spears in Tokyo as also acting as their coach. Sampson started assistant coaching for the Singapore national team of rugby in the year 1996. Sampson was later appointed head coach, with Australian’s David Campese taking over as assistant coach in 1998. He was in Singapore until 2000, and then returned as a coach in 2002.

Sampson was raised on a cattle and sheep station close to Cobar. Cobar located in the western part of New South Wales, and went to in the Shore School in Sydney.
