Justin Horo (born 7 September 1986) is an New Zealand professional rugby league footballer, who played last as a second-rowplayer, hooker and lock in the team of Wakefield Trinity in the Super League. He was previously a player with the Parramatta Eels and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL.
After being told that he wasn’t part of the Eels future plans in the 2012 season Horo was contemplating playing in a park with the French club in France with a friend , before signing a 2-year contract with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on November 12 of the 2013 season after having been released from the last term of the Eels contract. He scored eight attempts in an 18-game period (to Round 20, which included two byes) He played as a back row player along with forwards who were representative Anthony Watmough and Glenn Stewart.
Horo was active throughout the 2011 season , however in 2012, he was sacked out of the Parramatta team following a 1st round loss. He played in only six games throughout the entire season. Horo told reporters, “Steve (Kearney) said I had a few things to work on and I ended up getting a few injuries after that. I tore ligaments in my ankle and then I had a rotator-cuff injury in my shoulder. Once I got back to full fitness I ended up stringing a few games together at the end but that was after Mooks had gone.”

In 2010 Horo was a member of his country’s New Zealand Maori team against England.
In the third round in the 2009 NRL season, he made his NRL debut as a player for the Parramatta Eels against the Wests Tigers. In the following year, he signed for the Parramatta Eels on a 3-year contract. He rejected requests from Newcastle Knights, the North Queensland Cowboys and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. After his first appearance, Horo took part in every game during the 2010 season. He also was awarded the award for 2010’s Parramatta Eels season’s rookie of the year award.
On 6 August 2015, Horo signed a 2-year contract to play in the Super League for French club the Catalans Dragons starting in 2016. In September 2017 he signed a two-year deal with Wakefield Trinity.
