Judith Babirye is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on September 23, 1977 in Nyenga, Uganda, Buikwe District, Uganda. Babirye was born in Nyenga, Buikwe District, to Mr. and Mrs. Mukooza on the 23rd of September 1977. She was a student at Nalinya Lwantale primary school in Luweero District. She was a student at Ndejje Senior School for her O-level education, and the Iganga Secondary School for her A-Level studies. She graduated with a High School Diploma in 1998.

She also serves as the elected Member of Parliament for the Buikwe District Women Constituency in the 10th Parliament (2016-2021).

Her debut single, “Beera Nange”, was awarded the top gospel single at the 2006 Pearl of Africa Music Awards. She has had hits such as “Wambatira”, “Omusaayi gwa Yesu”, “Ekitibwa kyo Mukama” and “Maama”.
