Wanamaker completed the season with the Regionalliga team BC Erfurt, averaging 25.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.9 steals. He remained with Erfurt for the following season and was averaging 20.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.4 steals after 17 games.
In 2009, he transferred once more into Texas Wesleyan University, where the two seasons he played basketball, both at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level. In three games in junior college where he averaged a double double of 10 and 12 points. rebounds. He also earned back-to back Player of the Week awards for the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). Brian Steven Wanamaker (born July 25 1989) is an American professional basketball player who most recently was a player with BC Vytis of the National Basketball League (NKL). Born in Philadelphia the city of his birth, he played in the high school basketball league with Roman Catholic High School. He started his college career at Central Connecticut before transferring to Lon Morris as an sophomore. The guard was a combo player who played his final two seasons with Texas Wesleyan.
Following his decision to commit on April 16 2007 in 2007, Wanamaker played one basketball season in college in Central Connecticut at the NCAA Division I level. He was given very little playing time, playing in 14 games as a freshman , but not averaging 2.9 minutes of playing time per match. He scored his sole field goal of the entire season on January 19 the 19th of January, 2008 at Fairleigh Dickinson.
In 2012, Wanamaker took part the Eurobasket Summer League (ESL) in Las Vegas, where he played for Union Monaco.
