Joyce Grable is one of the most popular and richest Professional Wrestler who was born on November 9, 1952 in LaGrange, Georgia, United States. Betty Wade-Murphy (born on November 9th 1952) is a famous American professional wrestler, who was known as her name in the ring as Joyce Grable. She was a permanent tag-team partner for Wendi Richter. She was the winner of the NWA United States Women’s Championship once , and also the NWA Women’s World Tag Team Championship four times, twice with Richter and once with her tag teammate Vicki Williams.

in 1982 Wendi Richter joined her as her tag teammate following the fact that Grable taught during six weeks in Atlanta, Georgia. She wrestled in a string of matches at Stampede Wrestling with partner Richter against Velvet McIntyre and Judy Martin. The two teams fought until April 1983, when they joined Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association. Then, in May of 1983 she was back with Stampede Wrestling, where she was once more a part of Richter to take on McIntyre as well as Penny Mitchell.

She retired in 1991 and had back surgery. On January 29, 2005, Grable appeared at WrestleReunion managing Sherri Martel, Peggy Lee Leather, Krissy Vaine, and Amber O’Neal in an eight-woman tag team match against Wendi Richter, Bambi, Malia Hosaka, and Jenny Taylor. Grable continues to make appearances at wrestling reunions and conventions, as well as occasional independent shows. Grable appeared at a Magnificent Ladies Wrestling event on April 30, 2011, where she managed Melanie Cruise in a match against “Pryme Tyme” Amy Lee, and also managed Million Dollar Baby in a street fight against Robbie Rage. On May 20, 2011, she (along with several other retired professional wrestlers) was a guest at a Total Nonstop Action Wrestling live event in Amsterdam, New York.

In 2013, Grable revealed she had cancer, prompting a benefit show to be held in Florida.

In 1978, at the Superbowl of Wrestling II, she beat seven wrestlers in a battle royal. The following year, she beat Ann Casey to win the NWA United States Women’s Championship. She also assisted coach Judy Martin. On August 7, 1979, the duo consisting of Grable along with Williams beat the Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai, and Martin) to start their second stint with the NWA Women’s Tag Champions. From 1973 until 1983, Grable frequently competed in the World Wrestling Federation, often in singles matches with WWF women’s champion Fabulous Moolah, and Tag team match matches alongside Williams.
