Josh Mantellato (born 21 April 1987) is an Italy international footballer in the league who is a winger with the Wyong Roos in the Central Coast Division Rugby League competition. He played previously with the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League as well as the Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League.

The 12th round of 2013’s NRL season Mantellato was able to make the NRL debut with the Knights against the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Mantellato scored a goal and kicked three goals on debut. On the 20th of August, 2013, he signed with the Knights for a one-year deal. On the 22nd of September, 2013 he selected as a winger in 2013, the New South Wales Cup Team of the Year. In 2013, he played in Italy’s 2013. Rugby League World Cup qualifying tournament, and was picked as a member of the squad that comprised 24 players to play in this year’s World Cup campaign. On the 19th of October, 2013, he scored his winning goal during Italy’s 15-14 warm-up match victory against England.

Mantellato spent 2018 playing for Wyong in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW. At the end of the season it was announced that Wyong would not be competing in the competition in 2019 as the Sydney Roosters ended their agreement for Wyong to be their feeder side instead choosing foundation club North Sydney as the new feeder side.

The year 2012 saw Mantellato was a part of Mantellato’s Newcastle Knights’ New South Wales Cup team. He finished the year as the highest scoring player in the competition at 306 total points. On September 12, 2012, he was selected as a wing player in the 2012 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year. The following day, he signed a one-year deal to the Knights.
