He was a professor in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (1988-1995) as well as The Universitat of Girona (1996-2000) and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2000-2005). The Rector was at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra from May 2005 until June 2013. In October of 2010, he was appointed doctor honoris causa by the Valparaiso University (Chile).
Moreso has published a number of books in his area of expertise. His most recent book is Constitucion. Modelo para armar will be published by Marcial Pons in the beginning of 2009.
His first introduction to the UPF’s governing body UPF is as the Vice-Rector of Faculty as well as of the European Higher Education Area under the direction of then Rector Rosa Maria Viros (2001-2005) the position that gave him an extensive knowledge of the current standard European framework, as well as the internal structure of the university. Rector from 2005 until the year 2013, the University was elected to an additional term. Since 2005 the University has upgraded the degrees of all faculties to EHEA as well as enhancing its research profile , and postgraduate programs, and consolidated its international orientation and been recognized with the CEI certificate (International Excellence Campus) by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
