Jonathan Patrick Sigalet (born February 12th 1986) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defensive player who is currently in the Brynas IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was picked for Brynas IF of the Boston Bruins in the fourth round (100th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Sigalet was the fourth selection of Boston (100th in the overall order) at the time of the NHL Entry Draft. He officially joined Boston Bruins Boston Bruins on the 15th of August the 15th of August, 2005. He opted to forgo his last two years of eligibility for college and joining his brother’s Boston team. Jonathan was a part of three seasons for the Bruins the minor league team, called the Providence Bruins.
Jonathan played his first NHL game on January 9, 2007 with the Boston Bruins in a 5–2 loss against the Ottawa Senators. He registered one shot, no points, four penalty minutes and a minus-two plus/minus rating.
On May 28, 2008 the Columbus Blue Jackets acquired the rights to Sigalet in a trade with the Bruins in exchange for the rights of forward Matt Marquardt.
After his time playing in the BCHL, Sigalet joined the Bowling Green Falcons for the 2003-2004 season. He was joined by his brother, goalie Jordan Sigalet. After a night of three points against Findlay on the 12th of December, Sigalet was named CCHA Rookie of the Week on the 14th of December 2003. He finished his first season with three goals as well as 12 assists as well as 26 penalty minute which earned him an Honorable Mention on the CCHA All-Rookie Team.

As a youngster, Sigalet played in the 2000 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as a member of an ice hockey team of minors from Burnaby.
