Meades The initial contract of two months in AFC Wimbledon saw him joining his team-mates Steven Gregory and former Cherries captain Warren Cummings and reunited him with Neal Ardley, who had quit his position as the Head of the Cardiff City Academy to become the manager AFC Wimbledon. AFC Wimbledon on 10 October 2012. Meades made his first Football League debut for AFC Wimbledon on November 6 in the 2-0 defeat against Exeter City. Meades completed the conclusion of a productive loan period on April 27, 2013 on the last day of the 2012-13 Football League Two season, by aiding AFC Wimbledon to avoid relegation from the Football League after a 2-1 victory against Fleetwood Town. The 21-year-old later won the Natalie Callow Memorial Trophy as The AFC Wimbledon’s Youth Player of the Year according to the votes of the supporters.
On 22 May 2013 Meades joined Football League Two side Oxford United on a two- year deal, having rejected the offer of signing a contract with AFC Wimbledon. He suffered an ankle-ligament injury in a pre-season friendly against Coventry City and he did not appear in the Oxford first team during his first season. He made only seven league appearances (10 in all competitions) for Oxford in 2014–15 and returned on a free transfer to AFC Wimbledon in June 2015.
In his second spell at AFC Wimbledon, Meades made 100 appearances, 91 of them in the League, before retiring due to injury after the 2017–18 season, at the age of 26.
Meades made his debut appearance in the squad of Wales under-21s on September 6, 2011 in a 3-1 loss by Montenegro under-21s during the preliminary stages of 2013’s UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship He made an appearance as a 74th minute replacement to Elliott Hewitt. Meades was again a part of Wales under-21s during the UEFA Under-21 qualifying stages on 10 September 2012, as an 76th minute substitution to Adam Henley in a 5-0 loss to Czech Republic under-21s. On the 6th of February, the 6th of February, 2013 Meades returned to the squad of Wales under-21s in a friendly match against Iceland under-21s. It ended in the team won 3-0. Meades has won her fourth cap for the under-21s took place on March 22, 2013 with the 1-0 win over Moldova under-21s during the qualifying rounds of the 2015 European Under-21 UEFA Football Championship.

Meades was first selected as a representative of Wales at the under-17 level on the 17th of March, 2008 after a 1-1 draw against Slovenia under-17s at the 2008 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship Elite Round.
Meades went through the youth academy that was part of Cardiff City under the supervision by then Director of the Academies Neal Ardley. On August 19, 2010 it was revealed that the 18-year-old defender was to sign a three-month loan to Norwegian soccer club Moss FK who at that time were part of the Adeccoligaen. The player made his debut for Moss FK on 22 August 2010, in a 2-0 win at home against Alta IF. While he was sent off following a bookable offence in the 84th minutes, Meades was nevertheless named man of the game. Following his suspension of one match, Meades made a further nine appearances for the Kaellan and scored a goal in a loss of 4-2 to Tromsdalen UIL on October 10, 2010. Meades was let go from the squad by Cardiff coach Malky Mackay at the close of the 2011-12 campaign having not been able to make it into the first squad after having suffered from injuries, and suffering from an injury to his patellar tendon in the knee, and having surgery on his leg.
The left-back featured twice for AFC Bournemouth during pre-season whilst on trial, against Havant & Waterlooville and Reading respectively. His performances were enough to impress then manager Paul Groves and he signed a two-year contract with the Cherries on 9 August 2012. However, Meades failed to break into the first team and on 5 November 2012 new Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe loaned him to League Two side AFC Wimbledon. On 20 May 2013, it was announced that Meades had left Bournemouth after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
