Jonathan Glenn is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 27, 1987 in Trinidad and Tobago. Jonathan Ricardo Glenn (born 27 August 1987) is a Trinidad and Tobago international footballer who is a player with IBV In Iceland.

After his first year working for IBV, Glenn was named to the Trinidad and Tobago national team for the 2014 Caribbean Cup. Glenn was a part of two games during the tournament, and came in as a substitute for Curacao as well as Cuba. In the tournament, Soca Warriors finished runners-up to Jamaica in the competition.

On 28 July 2017, Glenn moved to North Carolina FC alongside teammate Danny Barrow in exchange for Brian Shriver who went to Jacksonville Armada.

Glenn was born at Maloney Gardens, Tunapuna-Piarco, Trinidad. He was a student at St. Anthony’s College in Diego Martin before moving to the United States to play at Saint Leo University in Florida in the USA, where he was studying marketing and psychology.

The first year of his time in 2007 at Saint Leo in 2007, Glenn scored 14 goals over 13 matches, placing the fourth place among NCAA Division II in goals per game. He was awarded an award called the Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year award. He also was named Second Team All-SSC selection. He also received an award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas All-South Region Second Team award. In 2008 following his sophomore year Glenn was awarded the Second Team All-SCC as well as NSCAA/Adidas All South Region Second Team recognition. After scoring 9 goals over 15 games during the junior season, and scoring his first career hat-trick during a match in the match against Georgia Southwestern State University, Glenn was once more selected to the All-SSC 2nd Team and the Daktronics NCAA Division II All-South Region Second Team. Glenn ended his career with Saint Leo in 2010, and in his senior year he was selected on the SSC All-Conference Team, and to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. In all, he scored 41 goals in 57 games during his college career. This was at the time the fifth highest score among Saint Leo history.

Glenn began his professional career while in Saint Leo in 2008 with the Panama City Beach Pirates of the USL Premier Development League, which he played in five matches , but did not score one goal. The club returned to PDL in the year 2010, playing with the Vermont Voltage, scoring 5 goals in 20 games over his two seasons at the team. Then he moved to Jacksonville United FC of the National Premier Soccer League, which was where he was selected on the All- Conference team of the Sunshine Conference in 2012.

In February 2014, Glenn moved to Iceland, when he signed for ÍBV of the Úrvalsdeild. He had a successful first season in Iceland, scoring 12 goals in 20 matches, second-most in the league. He received ÍBV’s Golden Boot, along with the club’s Player of the Year award.
