John Tonelli is one of the most popular and richest Hockey Player who was born on March 23, 1957 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. A former NHL forward who took home the record-breaking four Stanley Cups as a member of the New York Islanders from 1980 until 1983. He assisted in helping to help the Calgary Flames reach their first Stanley Cup Final in franchise history during the 1985-86 campaign.

He along with He and Bryan Trottier formed the top line of the dominant Islanders teams of the early 80’s. formed the top team of the dominating Islanders teams in the 80’s in the early 1980’s.

Tonelli was the first 15-year-old player to be signed by the Toronto Marlies OHA team, and the first Milton boy to play with the Marlies since Murray “Cowboy” Grenke in the 1948–49 and 1949–50 seasons.

Tonelli was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, on March 23, 1957, to his parents Alex Tonelli, Jr. and Joy Sclisizzi of Milton. He has an older brother Raymond, a younger brother David and a younger sister, Sandra. Tonelli’s mother Joy Sclisizzi is a relative of Enio Sclisizzi, who was Milton’s first NHLer.

The brother of his, Ray also played on teams such as that of the International Hockey League’s Muskegon Mohawks.
