John Jackson (born 13 February 1964) is a Scottish professional stock car race driver. He is currently a part-time competitor with the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the Nos. 13 and 42 Toyota Camrys for MBM Motorsports. He has also raced in various other series including his participation in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as the ARCA Racing Series.

The year 2011 was the last time he competed in 4 races in 2011 for James Carter, recording a highest finish of 31st in Atlanta in the one race in which he did not start or park. He also did not get into two races. The year 2012 was the time he began and stopped for two races and was unable to be able to qualify for three races. The year 2014 was the same. He raced 3 races with Carter and one race for Jimmy Means. He was also unable to finish with just three races in 2014 with Carter. The last race he competed in with Carter raced on the track at Richmond International Raceway, remains the only Xfinity race with the number. 72 as of May 2016. As of May 2016, he competed in the most races of his career, five including four races for MBM Motorsports and one for Means. In addition, he started and parked in all races, with the exception of one with a record of 31st place in the race at Iowa Speedway with MBM. The race featuring Means is the final Xfinity race by the number. 79 as of May 2016. In 2016 Jackson was the first driver to make his appearance at Talladega. Jackson completed another six races for MBM making him the very first Scottish racer to be last placed in the Xfinity race. This Talladega race is the third of the three events Jackson has completed during the course of his Xfinity career. Jackson was back at MBM to race one time in all three of the three team automobiles in the year 2017, but failed to complete all three. Jackson was also removed from entries twice in the No. 72 machine.

Jackson performed Jackson’s ARCA debut during the Pocono 200 driving for Mario Gosselin. He was 22nd when he started however, he crashed and ended up finishing 30th. Jackson was unable to get into two other ARCA races in the same season. His first race in 2007 was the Construct Corp-Palm Beach Grading 250 at USA International Speedway, where he had his best performance in ARCA and was ranked eighth. Jackson had two more races but failed to make it to a race, finishing 34th finish at Kansas Speedway after a crash and a 20th finish at Chicagoland Speedway. He raced once in 2008, which was at Talladega Superspeedway. He was 25th following an accident, but he led the amount of laps. Five of his ARCA races were with Gosselin.

Jackson was able to make the Truck debut on the Truck in 2009 while driving for Gosselin. Jackson made five appearances as the driver of the No. 72 Chevrolet Silverado, and one start in the No. 92. He also didn’t be able to qualify for two races during the year 92. His best result was 28th place at Texas Motor Speedway, and the race he didn’t finish was the race in the park team and start. The year 2010 was the first time he raced in four races and finished with the highest finish that was 27th Kentucky Speedway. It was his only race in which he was able to finish by parking and starting in Darlington Raceway and Talladega, and then crashing on the track at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He was also not able to get into one race along with Dwayne Tatman.
