John Cofie is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on January 21, 1993 in Aboso, Germany. John Erzuah Cofie (born 21 January 1993) is a Ghanaian English footballer currently playing as forward at his Philippines Football League club Global FC.

In 2012 Cofie was loaned to Belgian team Royal Antwerp to gain first-team experience. In the summer following, Cofie signed a one-year loan contract to League One side Sheffield United for the 2012-13 season. Following his debut in the first fixture of the year with Shrewsbury Town, Cofie scored his first goal for Sheffield United the following week at Colchester United. Three days later it was announced that Cofie had been recalled to Manchester United, despite having declared his desire to play the remainder of his season at the Blades.

On 9 August 2014, Cofie signed a contract with Tippeligaen side Molde FK.

Cofie signed for Wrexham on non-contract terms on 25 November 2015.

In February of 2013, Cofie moved to the other League One side, Notts County with a one-month long loan contract. Cofie scored his first goal on debut in an 1-1 draw against Crewe Alexandra, but his contract was not renewed and he was recalled back to United in March, having made seven games for County. After failing to break into the team they had in place, Cofie was released by Manchester United at the end of the 2012-13 season.

Cofie began his career as a young player at Burnley. After Burnley refused a PS250,000 offer made by Liverpool to sign Cofie during November of 2007 He refused to go back to the club’s training. After more attention by Chelsea, Cofie was signed by Manchester United in November 2007 and was enrolled in the club’s Academy at the end of July. After signing professional agreements at United in 2010 he continued to play for the club’s youth side and was looking to get into the reserve team.

Transfers are free, Cofie signed a one-year contract with Championship club Barnsley on the 19th July of 2013. Cofie had to be released by Barnsley after the end in the season 2013-14.

He began his career with Burnley and moved to Manchester United for a fee of £1m at the age of 14, but failed to make the break into the first-team. Following loan spells with Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County he was released by Manchester United, joining Barnsley on a free transfer in July

2013. He never made a first-team appearance at Barnsley before joining Norwegian club Molde in August 2014. In March 2015, he returned to England, joining Crawley Town. He moved to Wrexham in November 2015. In January 2016, Cofie joined AFC Telford United before moving to Southport in June 2016.
