Jimmy Allan is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on November 10, 1953 in Inverness, Scotland. Jimmy Allan (born 10 November 1953) is an Scottish former footballer who was goalkeeper at Swindon Town.

His professional career ended in the month of October 1983, when his left arm broke in a fight against Rochdale players Steve Johnson. The damage was so serious that Allan was unable to completely straighten his arm following his numerous surgeries.

Allan then moved to Devon with his wife and three children and took up work in a box manufacturing company. In 1996, he assisted with coaching at local team Torrington and made a small number of appearances in goal, despite only being able to use one arm effectively.

A fervent Catholic, Allan became the first British professional footballer playing on Sundays in the month of January 1974. The manager Les Allen saying “Jimmy told me it would be against his religious beliefs to play on a Sunday and I respect his views.” In spite of this the player was cut from the team’s first squad until the start year 1976/77.
