Brendan Keogh (born 8 December 1970) in Penrith, New South Wales is an Australian Paralympic swimming coach who has more than 20 years of coaching experience in swimming. He has served as an Australian coach for five consecutive Summer Paralympic Games – 2000 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016.

He officially retired from international coaching shortly following his participation in the London 2012 Summer Paralympics in 2012 and was appointed a coach in Genesis Christian College’s Aquatic Centre. He announced his retirement as chief coach for the Paralympic swimming team, he said that “it didn’t come easy.” Keogh has been quoted as saying “working with Paralympic athletes for more than a decade has truly been the highlight of my career and something that I will forever cherish.”

In March 2015, Keogh with Glenn Beringen were appointed by Swimming Australia and Australian Commonwealth Games Association as coaches for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Queensland to develop potential young athletes.

As of 2015, he is the lead coach of the Australian Paralympic Swimming Team along with Swimming Australia Paralympic performance manager Adam Pine. He was appointed head coach for the Australian Swim Team at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

Keogh was from that moment appointed at the time by Swimming Australia within a full-time job. The year 2004 saw him named the head coach of the Australian Paralympic swim team for the 2004 Paralympic Games. He was the team’s head coach for each subsequent major international championship until his retirement in the year 2012.

Keogh’s very first contact working with Paralympic swimmers was when he was the personal coach of Tamara Nowitzki, who won the silver medal during the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney.
