Jesse Schultz (born September 28 the 28th of September, 1982) is an Canadian pro-ice hockey right Winger, currently under contract with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

The 2005-06 season marked an important pivotal year for Schultz. After two disappointing professional seasons, and the final season of his deal with the Canucks the future of his professional career appeared to be in doubt. But, he could be a star and lead his team Moose in scoring 67 and 37 points and established himself as an athlete that has NHL potential.

On July 23, 2007, Schultz was traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the Atlanta Thrashers for Jim Sharrow. He would not play a game with the Thrashers in 2007–08 season, instead playing with affiliate the Chicago Wolves where he would help win the Calder Cup.

On July 6, 2008, Schultz signed with the Minnesota Wild to a one-year contract and was later assigned to affiliate the Houston Aeros. During the following season in 2009–10, Schultz joined the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers on January 6, 2010 for the remainder of the year.

Schultz was transferred for the Kelowna Rockets for the 2001-02 season. He posted impressive numbers of 64 and 28 points. But, he was not passed over in the NHL draft because scouts considered that he was too small and slow for professional play. However, a 53-goal 104-point season in 2002-03 could be enough to secure him a free-agent deal with Vancouver’s Vancouver Canucks on July 31 in 2003.

Schultz was a four-year player in playing junior soccer in the Western Hockey League, starting in the 1999-2000 season playing for the Tri-City Americans. He was traded by the Prince Albert Raiders midway through the 2000-01 season. the player was a success scoring 32 points over 35 contests in the Raiders. But it wasn’t enough to make him eligible for the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, as his name was not selected during his very first year of NHL eligibility.

Heading into the 2006–07 NHL season, Schultz was considered a favourite to crack the Canucks’ roster following the departure of several veteran forwards. Adding to his chances, he was a favourite of head coach Alain Vigneault, who had been promoted to Vancouver after coaching the Moose the previous season. However, Schultz had an extremely disappointing training camp and was returned to the AHL. Schultz was recalled to the Canucks after a solid start in Manitoba, and made his NHL debut on November 29, 2006 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
