Jerome Virgil Henderson (born August 8, 1969) is the current Defensive Backs coach for the New York Giants, and a former American football Cornerback for the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets of the National Football League. He played college football at Clemson University and was drafted in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He is currently the defensive backs coach for the New York Giants. Prior to coming to Atlanta, Henderson the defensive backs coach for the Dallas Cowboys. He played in two Super Bowls; one with the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII and another with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.

On January 21, 2020 the New York Giants hired Jerome Henderson to be the team’s defensive backs coach.

Henderson joined the Cowboys’ staff in 2012, Henderson was reunited with Rob Ryan, who served as the Browns’ defensive coordinator from 2009-2010 before filling the same role for the Cowboys in 2011.Henderson left after his contract expired in 2015.

After interviewing for a head coach job with the Browns, Jerome ended up as a coach with the Falcons.In the 2016 season, Henderson and the Falcons reached Super Bowl LI, where they faced the New England Patriots on February 5, 2017.
