Jason Cory Jaramillo (born October 9th 1982) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He was a collegiate player in the state of Oklahoma at Oklahoma State University.
Jaramillo started 2010 as the backup catcher for Doumit. Jaramillo had a 4-17 record in April then 4-22 in May, and then 3-26 in June. On July 12 Jaramillo was sent to Triple-A Indianapolis, and was substituted as a backup catcher by Erik Kratz. After Doumit was diagnosed with concussion on the 22nd of July, Jaramillo was recalled to play with Kratz. He was a part of four games for the Pirates before being let go after Chris Snyder was acquired. Jaramillo was called up on September 7, after Indianapolis’s season was over and Kratz was assigned for assignment, which made Jaramillo his third catcher. In his 33 games with the Pirates Jaramillo struck .149 with one hit and six RBI.
Jaramillo signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers on March 29, 2012. He was assigned to Double-A Huntsville and was their Opening Day catcher. On May 29, Jaramillo was promoted to Triple-A Nashville. In 34 games with the Stars, he hit .258 with 8 doubles and 12 RBI. On August 14, Jaramillo was released by the Brewers.

On the 10th of December 2008, Jaramillo became a trade partner for the Pittsburgh Pirates for catcher Ronny Paulino. Jaramillo was added to his way onto the Pirates Opening Day roster as the backup catcher for Ryan Doumit. Jaramillo was able to make his Major League debut on April 16 2009 when he scored his debut hit during the 4th innings, against Houston Astros pitcher, Russ Ortiz. On April 21st, Doumit went on the disabled list due to a broken wrist. Jaramillo was named the starter along with Robinzon Diaz as his backup. He had a great April and hit .345 and scoring 3 RBI. He was less impressive in May, but Diaz had more starts throughout the month. Diaz made his debut major league home run on June 2, against the Mets off of Johan Santana, tying the game 1-1. Doumit was back on July 10 Jaramillo was picked up, and Diaz was released. He only played five games during July. seven matches in August and then 10 games in September to complete the season. In the 63 games he scored .252 with three RBI and 3 HR. RBI.

On September 1, Jaramillo was recalled when the rosters expanded and was used mostly off the bench. In 23 games with Pittsburgh, he hit .326 (14-43) with 3 doubles and 6 RBI. On December 7, Jaramillo was designated for assignment, and he elected free agency 5 days later.
