Dutch radio station 100% NL nominated van de Polder for “Breakthrough” and his single “Feel The Love” for “Hit of Year”.

On January 20, 2017, he released the single “Just Wanna Be with You” on Spinnin’ Premium. The single was available as a free download on Spinnin’ Records website until February 3, after that date it was released on iTunes, Beatport and Spotify. On April 7, 2017, he released “Little Hollywood”, a collaboration with Alle Farben. A remix pack for the song was released two months later featuring remixes from Krono and Aligee & Lovra.

Van de Polder was a singer when he made his debut in 2012. He sent demos to Rowin Schumm of SBV Music Entertainment and Tjaartvenema of SBV Music Entertainment, who wanted to record a track. His first official release was “Six String Thing”, released December 17. He has been performing under the stage name Yannick Devy since then. He released “Inspire Me”, his second single, in 2013. He released Survival Guide, his first studio album, in July

2014. It was simultaneously released with “Better Man” in the same month. He was also featured in Lost Frequencies’ single “Reality” in 2015. This song topped the charts for the Belgian DJ in more than ten countries. He was also featured on Sascha Braemer’s single “Drifting”, from his debut album No Home. His song “Don’t Give up on Us” was featured as a joke in Fack ju Gohte 2, a 2015 German comedy.
