Moring began his career in music as a professional percussionist in the orchestra of the state opera in Hamburg. In 2001, he began work as a producer and songwriter in pop music. He is best known as the co-producer of “Ein Stern” by DJ Otzi, which was number 1 for 12 weeks in 2007, and became the second most successful song in German chart history. Also as a writer, Ivo Moring is responsible for various top 10 hits, such as “Nie Genug”, “Space Cowboy”, and “Perfect Love”. In 2007, he developed a European wide campaign for “Brita-Water”. In 2008, he produced the music for the UK-wide advert “Beeing Green” from EDF, against climate change. He also does a lot of releases for chill-out sampler; in this genre more than 3 million CDs were sold, completely produced by Ivo Moring. In Autumn 2009, the Blu-ray-movie project BluElements “forsenses” was released worldwide and became the best selling national music-Blu-ray-DVD 2009 in Germany. For this, Ivo Moring composed 60 minutes of music in 7.1 surround- sound. Also the follow-up movie “timberlounge” reached the top10 of the national DVD-charts.
