Gary Penrice is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on March 23, 1964 in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Gary Kenneth Penrice (born 23 March 1964) was an ex-professional footballer. He was a player with Bristol Rovers, Watford, Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers as striker. After a long time that allowed him to play more than 400 appearances as an assistant manager, coach of attacking and, later, an scout for talent.

After his time at Watford, Penrice was snapped up by Aston Villa for a PS1 million in 1991. He scored only one goal in the club’s twenty games. He spent much of the time in the hospital with a fractured leg.

Penrice re-signed for Bristol Rovers on a free transfer in the summer of 1997 to lead them to the Second Division play-offs that year alongside player-boss Ian Holloway in the centre of midfield. After a 16-year career, scoring 110 goals in 400 professional appearances, Penrice retired from playing and became Holloway’s assistant manager at Rovers after Phil Bater moved to take control of the youth team.

Since his retirement from playing, Penrice has stuck with friend Ian Holloway as his assistant manager at both Bristol Rovers and later at Queens Park Rangers. He resigned from his position at Bristol Rovers in February 2002.

After just eight months of signing with Villa, Penrice was taken to Queens Park Rangers by former Rovers manager Gerry Francis. He was a part of the ex- Rovers’ neighborhood and was reunited together with Ian Holloway. Penrice began his career with QPR in November 1991 , against Aston Villa and went on to play 63 league matches with 20 goals.
