Hridith Sudev is one of the most popular and richest Environmentalist who was born on December 27, 1999 in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India. Hridith Sudev, a southern Indian state in Kerala, was born 27 December 1999 to Dr.Shajip Sreedhar & Hridhya S. Menon. Hridith is part of the now defunct Kurumbranad Royal Family through his father, with his great-great-grandfather, HH King Ramavarma Valiyaraja II being the last reigning monarch of Northern Kerala. Hridith was afflicted with ataxia in his childhood. He later recovered. In 2004, he moved to Oman along with his parents.

Hridith is often identified as a social activist and active advocate for feminism, equality and diversity. Hridith is a vocal supporter for the HeForShe Campaign and LGBTQ rights, as well as Black Lives Matter Movement. He launched “The TheirStory Movement”, a neo-history website in 2017 with Alexandra Fuchs. It “celebrate lesser known great persons; queer, female or otherwise marginalized who helped shape our modern World and our past.” This website is designed to raise awareness about gender bias in textbook historical information.

Hridith Sudev is a scientist, social activist, author, speaker, screenwriter and environmentalist who is known for founding an environmental organization, The World Foundation. His first book, a poetry anthology titled “Catharsis: An Anthology” was published in 2018. He served as one of the writers on the 2019 South Korean television series, Arthdal Chronicles.

Official website states that Hridith Sudev started working on water-filtration technology in 2016, inspired by his grandmother’s use of Moringa Oleifera seeds to purify the water. Hridith was 11 years old when he began to work with Dr. Stephanie Velegol and his team at Pennsylvania State University. Hridith used a novel method of adsorbing MOC protein from moringa seeds onto charcoal dust to filter the water. Hridith started Project SasyaClean as a social enterprise venture. The filter will eventually be mass-produced to solve the global water crisis in areas where there is water scarcity.

Hridith and Samved Nambiar Sudev, his younger brother, established Project GreenWorld International in 2012 under their middle school Social Science Department. The Eco-Club was initially known as Project GreenOman. It organized many activities and events that quickly caught the attention of authorities. The Eco-Club was then expanded to become Project GreenWorld International (PGWI). PGWI won the 2012 World Environment Day Global School Award, which led to Hridith becoming the Project Earth Student Ambassador for Oman at the UNCSD Rio+20 conference.

Sudev was the youngest recipient of International Energy Globe Awards Austria (Nature’s Nobel Prize), which was presented to him jointly with his Oman unit. Hridith is often referred to as the “World’s Greenest Boy” for his environmental stewardship. Hridith and his group reconstituted PGWI in 2018 as a subsidiary under a new umbrella organization, The World Foundation. TWF, a registered non-profit organization working for environmentalalism and social justice, is registered. Hridith is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Hridith self-published his first full-length book with TinkerBird Publishing in 2018. The book, a poetry anthology titled “Catharsis: An Anthology” was one of the best-selling English-language poetry books in the Middle-East. His second book, The Summer of Touch-Me-Nots is expected to release in 2020.
