Harald Brattbakk is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on February 1, 1971 in Trondheim, Norway. Harald Martin Brattbakk, a former Norwegian football player who is now a pilot. He was born in Trondheim on 1 February 1971. He was a former striker and was the all-time leading scorer in the Norwegian top league with 166 goals in 252 matches. Sigurd Rushfeldt then surpassed him in 2011.

Brattbakk declared on TV3 Norway, 21 November 2006 that he would become a pilot after he retires from professional football. He was a pilot at Phoenix East Aviation, Inc. in Florida and received his commercial aircraft certificate in 2008. He flew for Helitrans, an aircraft company based in Trondheim, Vaernes, from 2008 to 2010. He also flew missions for the Norwegian Coast Guard. Since 2010, he has been a Norwegian Air Shuttle pilot.

In 2008 Brattbakk made a comeback in football after signing a contract with his native Kolstad-Fotball, an amateur club in the Norwegian 3rd Division Dep.

However, Brattbakk has been very successful in Norway. With 166 goals he was the highest-scoring player in the history of the Norwegian Premier League, until his record was beat by Sigurd Rushfeldt on 29 May 2011. Moreover, his record in the Champions League is an impressive one, and includes goals against such top sides as Real Madrid and Milan. He scored 28 goals in 66 matches for Rosenborg BK and scored 4 goals in 9 matches for Celtic in various European Cups. In November 2001, he scored twice against his old club Celtic as Rosenborg defeated them 2–0 in a Champions League tie in Trondheim.

Brattbakk was a Celtic player from December 1997 to January 2000. He seemed overwhelmed by the demands of playing for one Scotland’s Old Firm clubs. Although he enjoyed some success with the club, including scoring the winning goal against St Johnstone and all four goals in a win over Kilmarnock that year, Brattbakk’s spell in Glasgow was marked by insufficient goals and nervous performances.
