Hao Wei is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on December 27, 1976 in Zibo, Shandong, China. Hao Wei, Chinese: HaoWei; pinyin as HaoWei; Mandarin pronunciation: [xauwei]; was born December 27, 1976. He is a former international soccer player and coach from China. He is also the assistant coach for the Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng.

He would then take up an assistant managerial position after he had retired from playing with Changsha Ginde. He held this position until Zhu Bo, Changsha Ginde’s head coach, was fired. He would lead the club to away relegation. However, he was unable improve the teams’ performance and on 16th June 2010, he became the assistant coach of Miodrag Jesic, the Serbian manager. Hao was soon to leave Changsha to become the assistant coach of the Chinese Women’s team. However, when the Chinese Women failed to qualify for the Football at Summer Olympics 2012, the manager Li Xiaopeng resigned. This promoted Hao. Hao was expelled from the round of 16 match of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup national team because he interfered in a match between a New Zealand and New Zealand player.

At the start of 2003 league season, Hao Wei joined Shanxi Guoli. He was an immediate fixture for the team but was unable to assist them in their fight to stay in the top tier. Shanxi Guoli was unable to keep Hao Wei. He would join Beijing Guoan at Beijing Guoan’s beginning of the 2004 league season. There, he would compete for the right back position with Zhang Shuai the next two seasons. After that, he would move to Changsha Ginde to end his playing career.

Hao Wei, like many promising young players from China was sent to Brazil in 1997 by Jianlibao along with fellow youth prospects Li Tie or Zhang Xiaorui for a training program. He joined Shandong Luneng to begin his professional football career in 1998. However, he struggled to get into the team immediately due to injury. He was able to play in 11 league matches and scored one goal. Hao Wei rose to prominence in the 1999 league season when he was Shandong’s first choice back and helped them to a double league and cup. He would soon lose his importance in the Shandong team when Valeri Nepomniachi, the new manager, preferred Jiao Zhe to be his first choice back. By the end 2002 league season HaoWei had been allowed to go.

Hao Wei would make a senior debut against Hong Kong in a friendly on April 25, 2000, where he won 1-0. In preparation for the 2000 AFC Asian Cup, he would participate in a friendly against Hong Kong on April 25, 2000. However, he was not allowed to play when the squad was selected for the tournament. His playing time was severely reduced due to the emergence Sun Jihai and Xu Yunlong as the preferred options at right-back. On September 8, 2004, he was invited to play against Malaysia in a Fifa World Cup Qualifier. However, this would prove to be his final game.
