Hallur Hansson is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on July 8, 1992 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. Hallur Hansson, a Faroese professional football player, was born on 8 July 1992. He currently plays for and is the captain of the Danish Superliga club AC Horsens. He played for Vendsyssel FF for two-and-a-half years before that. From 2012 to 31 January 2014, he played for AaB. He was initially on loan from HB Torshavn for the first half-year. However, he signed an 18 month contract with AaB on 29 January 2013. He previously played for Aberdeen. He is currently part of the Faroe Islands team’s national football squad. He has previously played for the Faroe Islands U21 and Faroe Islands National Under-19 Football teams, as well as the Faroe Islands National Under-17 and Under 15 football teams.
Hansson made his debut in the Faroe Islands’ national football team on 15 August 2012, when he lost to Iceland in a friendly match. Hansson’s performance earned him a place in the team’s first FIFA World Cup qualifying match for 2014. It was a 3-0 loss to Germany in Hannover.
On 29 January 2013, he signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with Danish Superliga club AaB after playing for the club for a half-year on loan from HB Tórshavn. He has made six appearances for AaB’s Superliga team. On 31 January 2014, AaB announced that they no longer had a contract with Hansson. In February 2014, he made a contract with the Faroese club Víkingur Gøta.
On 17 June 2016, Hansson signed a two-year contract with Danish Superliga club AC Horsens.
Hansson was a long-time player for the Suduroy football club. The club was formerly called VB Vagur. In 2005, they merged with Sumba Football Club. They were renamed VB/Sumba. Hansson spent many years in Vagur with his family. However, he moved to Torshavn where he started playing for HB Torshavn. He signed a two year deal with Aberdeen in Scotland in 2008, while he was playing for HB Torshavn’s youth team, and some matches in the second best division. Aberdeen spotted Hansson and Sorensen at the Aberdeen International Football Festival 2006. Hallur Hansson was part of the U17 Faroe Islands football team that participated in the Aberdeen International Football Festival 2007. Hansson’s team won in Aberdeen. Both Faroese football players Hansson and Sorensen signed new contracts in May 2010. Hansson made his Aberdeen debut in the Scottish Premier League on November 27, 2010. Aberdeen lost by 2-0 to Kilmarnock in an away match.
