He played for Northern Suburbs Cricket Club in Maitland as well as Newcastle Cricket Club alongside Kent pace bowler Mitchell Claydon, winning representative honors as part of Mitchell Claydon’s New South Wales Country XI in the year 2016. The brother of Stewart, Luke, occasionally played with him in Newcastle.
