George Ndaira (born 22 February 1985) is an Australian former professional footballer who played during the decade 2000 and 2010. He played at the representative level for Lebanon as well as on a club-level as part of the National Rugby League (NRL) for the St. George Illawarra Dragons, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Newcastle Knights, as a halfback or hooker.
He joined the club in 2009 and signed with his team, the Newcastle Knights. They played him during two years. Following the 2010 season, Ndaira was let go by the Knights to join the Newcastle’s local Newcastle team, Kurri Kurri Bulldogs. However, this only lasted a few months and he was signed by in the Wests Tigers in 2011. In the meantime, waiting for a place in the Tigers first-grade team, he was a part of the Tigers feeder side at the NSW Cup. In the end, he was not able to reach first grade for the Tigers Ndaira was signed to Kurri Kurri in 2012, serving as coach and captain.
In 2014, Ndaira became an assistant coach for the Newcastle Knights New South Wales Cup team. He remained their until the end of 2016. In 2017, he joined the Newtown Jets as their assistant coach, where he still remains.
In 2015, Ndaira was an assistant coach for the Newcastle Knights New South Wales Cup side. During the season, he was asked to come out of retirement by head coach Matt Lantry, after the side suffered a number of injuries. He subsequently went on to play in the Knights’ 2015 New South Wales Cup Grand Final win over the Wyong Roos.
Ndaira was a player for Lebanon during his 2007 Rugby League World Cup qualifiers However, Lebanon was unable to draw with Ireland and didn’t get into the tournament. George changed his position as Hooker to Half Back in the Qualifiers. He scored two Men of the match performances against Wales and Ireland before the team bowed in defeat to Samoa.

Ndaira was part of the team that played in 2005’s St George Illawarra Dragons Jersey Flegg Grand Final side. He played in his high school football playing at Marist College Kogarah and was coach by Dave Callander and Mark Hildebrandt.
He made his grade debut in the year 2006 for the St George Illawarra Dragons. He played in three first grade games for the Dragons. In 2007, he joined with the Sydney Roosters, however, the team did not have a first-grade game for the club, instead playing most of the time in their reserve team. In 2008, he joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs, playing 14 matches for them throughout the season, getting four points (by kicks of 2 goals).
Ndaira captain-coached the Kurri-Kurri Bulldogs, who played in the local Newcastle Rugby League competition. He began this role in 2012 and lasted for two years.
