Gene Harmon is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on January 27, 1952 in Jerome, Idaho, United States. Milo “Gene” Harmon (January 27 1952 – December 11 the 11th of December, 2015) was an ex- American basketball player from the college level.

Harmon finished his college career with 22 points in a game against University of Louisville to secure an overall 3rd place finish during the Midwest Regional of the NCAA tournament in 1974 at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the total of three NCAA tournament games in 1974, Creighton went 2-1 with victories over University of Texas (77-61) and University of Louisville (80-71) however, they lost to the University of Kansas (55-54) in the round of 16. Harmon was averaging 20 point in the tournament and didn’t miss a single free-throw (10-10). He was selected for the 1974 Midwest All- Regional Team.

Harmon played as an AP Honorable Mention All-American and was chosen to participate at the 1974 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) College All-Star Game playing for the West team.

At 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 meters), Harmon played small forward for coach Eddie Sutton at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska from 1971 until 1974. He was the most prolific team MVP and scorer for all three years he was on the team’s varsity, and was part of Eddie Sutton’s initial NCAA tournament team in 1974. He graduated as the fourth highest scorer throughout Creighton University history with a total of 1,369 total points.
