Gavin Bone (born 19 January 1964) is an English writer as well as a lecturer within the field of witchcraft, magic, Wicca and Neo-Paganism, and an active participant in the Neo-Pagan community. Gavin Bone is a native of Portsmouth, Hampshire in England in 1964.

In the beginning, he was interested in an occupation within the British Army, but was not able to join regular service. He was a part of the 219 Wessex General Hospital RAMC (V) instead. He then resigned due to his political views. He was involved in organizations like Greenpeace since 1981. He was fascinated by Wicca at the same time after having explored Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism. He also began training as a healer of the spiritual realm, following his attendance at the Joseph Carey Spiritualist Centre. He practiced in a solitary manner since 1982 before joining his first group of magic in 1985 operating from The Fifth Dimension Occult store, Eastney, Portsmouth. The group was eclectic and comprised earth healing practices and High Magic. It was in it that the coven that he was a part of was formed, built on Buckland’s Seax Wicca. He later was incorporated into the Gardnerian style of tradition that was based on Gardnerian.

Bone first met Janet Farrar and Stewart Farrar in 1989 at a Pagan camp at Groby, near Leicester, where they became friends. He accompanied them on a tour to the United States in 1992, and after their return he moved to Ireland and became their business partner. He joined the Farrars as part of a “polyfidelitous relationship”, and they continued their personal and professional relationship since Stewart’s death on 7 February 2000. He co- authored several books with the Farrars, and he is the production manager for their videos. He also set up their website in 1996, which has become the “Pagan Information Network”, a contact network for Pagans across the Republic and Northern Ireland, for which Bone and Janet Farrar are the primary coordinators.
