The presentation was an Egyptian honour that the presentation was selected as one of just six oral late-breakers. The research suggests that we might be able to treat compensated patients suffering from cirrhotic disease with an excellent response rate in the event that we extend treatment until 16 weeks. No relapses have occurred to date in difficult to treat Interferon-experienced cirrhotic patients treated for 16 weeks.
It was reduced to 10% of its global price. In addition, Prof. Esmat created an institute called the Hepatology Clinical Trials Research Unit (HCTRU) within the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute (NHTMRI) within the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the department of preventive and epidemiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA.
