Frederico Marques (born 4 September 1986) is a Portuguese professional tennis coach, who is currently coaching Joao Sousa on the ATP World Tour. After a brief tennis career, he was promoted to Head Coach at BTT Tennis Academy. BTT Tennis Academy in Barcelona and works alongside Sousa. In January of 2015, Marques has been the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association president in Portugal. He is the most recent coach with an athlete on the ATP top 100 rankings and is the first Portuguese participant in the ATP Coaches. This year, Marques has been nominated to win the 2014 Portuguese Coach of the Year award.
