With eight league appearances (three as a starter), Michel helped his side reach fourth place in the 2019 Allsvenskan.

Following in the footsteps of his father playing for Syrianska over three seasons, Michel Melki moved to Turkish club Eskisehirspor in the year 2016. In the year 2018, he relocated back to Sweden joining AFC Eskilstuna and helped them climb back up into the Allsvenskan. In 2019, he joined Swedish AIK, the champions of Sweden.
