He was appointed manager in 1983. became the director of the team for children. He then moved into Bnei Yehuda, where he played as a coach for the team’s youth. He was hired in 1989 to was appointed the coach of the youth team at Maccabi Petah Tikva.
He was appointed to his first full-time management position from Hapoel Mahane Yehuda in 1991. The following year, he took over as Beitar Petah Tikva manager, prior to moving to Hapoel Givat Olga the following year. The year 1995 saw him was named director of Ironi Rishon LeZion, leading the team towards winning the State Cup final in 1996 but they fell in the final to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The following year, the club transferred with Maccabi Petah Tikva, before joining Hapoel Kfar Saba the following season. After just six games of the 1999-2000 season , he quit the club, and then became a member of Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
In 2006, he joined Hapoel Petah Tikva, who were relegated. He started the 2007-08 season at Hapoel Acre, but left the club after 14 matches. In February 2008 he joined Hearts of Oak, but returned to Israel later in the year to manage Maccabi Herzliya. After 8 matches he quit this position in order to become the manager of Bnei Sakhnin.[1]
