Evgeny Maksimovich Novikov (Russian: Evgenii Maksimovich Novikov romanized as Yevgeniy Maksimovich Novikov, born on September 19, 1990) is a formerRussian rally driver who took part on the World Rally Championship from 2007 until 2013.

After a year of sabbatical competing, Novikov was back in competition in World Rally Championship partway through the 2011 season making his debut participation in the Rally Mexico in a Stobart M-Sport-equipped Ford. He took part on eight of 13 rallies and scored twelve points throughout the season, putting him in the year 17th overall.

At the beginning of the 2013 Acropolis Rally, Novikov was the early leader after winning the first 2 stages and had a 40-second lead over Jari-Matti Latvala after stage 3. A puncture dropped him down to 8th and ruled him out for his maiden win, Latvala eventually won the rally.

For the 2013 season, Novikov joined the Qatar M-Sport WRT alongside Mads Østberg.

For the 2009 season Novikov was appointed by the newly formed Citroen Junior Team, Citroen Total’s satellite team. Alongside Sebastien Ogier, and Conrad Rautenbach as his teammates He will be driving his Citroen C4 WRC in at least eight of the 12 rallies. He earned the first WRC points by securing an overall fifth place in the Rally d’Italia Sardegna, and his first stage victory in the next rally that was at the Acropolis Rally, which took place in Greece. He was one of the first Russian and also the youngest driver to set the top times in the WRC series.

The Russian born Novikov was raised in Moscow, Novikov won the Russian Rally Cup in 2006 and was runner-up at both the Estonian as well as Russian National championships held in 2007. His 2007 campaign also included his compete as a participant in the World Rally Championship at the season-ending 2007 Wales Rally GB.

In 2008, Novikov contested a full six-event Production World Rally Championship programme as the youngest driver in the series. He retired after four rallies, and he collected the only PWRC points in Rally Japan. In 2012, Novikov joined M-Sport full-time. He scored his first podium at the 2012 Rally de Portugal, finishing third overall. He was promoted to second place when Citroën driver Mikko Hirvonen was excluded from the results.
