Yevgeni Igorevitch, aka Grachyov (Russian: Evgenii Igorevich Grachiov born on February 21, 1990) is also called Evgeny Grachev is a Russian professional centre for ice hockey now playing in Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was selected in the National Hockey League (NHL) by the New York Rangers in 2008 and was a player for both the Rangers as well as the St. Louis Blues organizations before being drafted into the KHL.

In June of 2011 Grachyov had been traded to St. Louis Blues in exchange for a draft pick in the year 2011. His first NHL point came from an assist during a game against The Philadelphia Flyers on October 22 in 2011. Grachyov made his mark with his debut NHL goal on the 26th of December in a game against Dallas Stars’ Andrew Raycroft.

Grachyov was called back for the Rangers on October 28, 2010 before making his NHL debut against the Carolina Hurricanes on October 29 October, 2010. He was recalled to Hartford on the 8th of November after playing six games with the Rangers. On January 23, 2011 the player was transferred to New York and was dropped to Hartford for two games Connecticut Whale – the Rangers their new AHL affiliate during the NHL All-Star break. He was sent back for his home team the Rangers in January, 2011 however he returned with the Whale on February 1, without playing another game for the Rangers. In 73 games played with the Whale in the 2010-11 season, Grachyov scored 16 goals and added 22 assists to his 38 points in total. He also was tied to Pavel Valentenko for the team leading position with a plus/minus score of +21.

There, he scored 16 goals and 12 assists in his debut full season of professional hockey player in North America. He was selected to the Rangers on the 8th of October 2009, however, he was assigned to Hartford on the same day, and was not able to play despite playing an official one game with New York.
